How to Chop Cilantro

Yes, I had to look this up so I thought I would share for all the other amateurs out there...

1. Wash the fresh cilantro under warm tap water. Simply place it under the water and let the water run through its leaves. Move it around so that all of the cilantro is thoroughly washed. Shake it a little bit to fling off the water after washing.

2. Lay the fresh cilantro in a bunch on a clean cutting board. Make sure all of the leaves are bunched together and the stems are together pointing in one direction.

3. Cut the fresh cilantro from leaves to stems using a sharp knife. Simply cut it into strips to begin.

4. Gather all of the cut cilantro and bunch it together once again. Hold the fresh cilantro with one hand and use the other hand to begin chopping the cut cilantro. Continue to chop it into very fine pieces. Chop up all of the leaves and the stems together.
